Sr. Events Manager
The Sacramento Asian Chamber of Commerce hosts the AAPI Night Market, Sacramento’s largest Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration on Capital Mall every year in May. The event brings thousands of people together to celebrate AAPI heritage, culture, food, music, local makers and more.
The concept chosen was “City of Us” which captured both the energy of live performance and the iconic architectural landmarks that root the event in the heart of the city and positioned Sacramento itself as part of the performance.
My role as lead designer was to craft the visual language for the entire event, from concept to final production and set-up. This included the lineup poster, website, all digital promo graphics and ads, stage and wayfinding signage, access badges, on stage graphics, staff shirts and more. The most successful design activation was the photo-op that brought attendees into large wooden standee elements from the poster.
