Build California is a workforce development initiative created to inspire, engage and activate the next generation of California’s construction workforce. They needed a website to explain how their learning program works and wanted to encourage their audience into action by beginning a certificate program or taking a virtual course.

Build California champions the construction industry in a young, fresh and dynamic way, and I made sure the landing page reflected that. The dynamic animation at the top of the page captures your attention immediately and elegantly slides away as you scroll down to learn more. Build California’s “safety yellow” is used to draw the eye and everything on the page has movement to it which keeps the user engaged from top to bottom.
