Language World
Explainer Video
Language World is one of California’s largest language access providers. They were in need of a video that explained their mission and all the details of the various services they provide.
My role was to storyboard the 1-minute explainer video in collaboration with the copywriter as well as illustrate every scene for production. Storyboarding every scene allowed me to art direct how every piece in the video should move and how the video should feel once the final files were sent to the motion designer.
Using illustration instead of live action was a way to keep the look and feel upbeat and playful while also making it more universal. Using their color palette and my drawing style, I illustrated a roster of diverse characters that told Language World’s story.
Members involved: Cameron Butterfield(animation)
My roles: concepting, storyboarding, illustration, design
